New foliage often emerges flushed with bronze or reddish tones before hardening into richly marbled leaves packed with contrast and colour.

Unlike climbing Philodendrons, Red Congo grows upright and compact, creating a bold architectural presence with broad, glossy foliage. Each leaf develops with unique patterning ranging from fine marbling to large sectoral blocks, making every plant completely individual.
