🌿 Monstera ‘Devil Monster’ – Extreme Fenestration, Collector Obsession
Yes, we can get these! The price is what the RRP price would be for a A-Grade.
An A-Grade refers to a plantlet that is already showing clear, stable variegation while still in tissue culture. These are typically supplied sealed in their tissue culture bag/flask and have been selected based on stronger colour expression, patterning, and overall quality.
Because the variegation is already expressed at the tissue culture stage, A-Grade plantlets are considerably rarer and more expensive than lower grades or "maybe develops later” being sold.
Rare, aggressive, and instantly unforgettable — Monstera ‘Devil Monster’ is prized for its dramatic fenestration and intensely sculptural foliage. The leaves develop with exaggerated cuts, perforations, and elongated openings that create a wild, almost skeletal appearance unlike standard deliciosa forms.
Its fast-climbing habit and increasingly distorted mature foliage give the plant a raw, untamed energy that has made it one of the most talked-about collector Monsteras in recent years. As it matures, each new leaf pushes the structure further, producing deeper fenestration and stronger architectural presence.
✨ Quick Care Tips:
💧 Water: Keep evenly moist; allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid prolonged saturation.
☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light is essential for strong fenestration and vigorous growth. Avoid harsh direct sun.
🌫 Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity for optimal leaf development and clean expansion.
🌡 Temps: Thrives between 18–28 °C. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
🪴 Soil: Performs exceptionally well in our NPG Aroid Formula, providing the ideal balance of airflow, moisture retention, and structure to support strong root development and healthy growth. Alternatively, use a chunky, free-draining aroid mix with bark, perlite, and coco.
🌱 NPG Tip:
Give this one strong vertical support early — mature growth is where Devil Monster truly shines. Stable warmth, high light, and consistent care will encourage increasingly dramatic fenestration over time.
