🌿 Monstera Deliciosa ‘Yellow Marilyn’ – Striking Golden-Yellow Variegation

Bold, luminous and unmistakably yellow, Monstera Deliciosa ‘Yellow Marilyn’ is prized for its vivid golden variegation set dramatically against deep green foliage.

Its variegation may emerge in yellow-green and chartreuse tones before developing brighter shades of yellow and gold as the leaf hardens. Colour can appear through marbling, streaking, splashes and larger contrasting sections, with every new leaf producing its own balance of deep green and brilliant yellow.

Unlike the cooler cream, white and mint tones seen in many variegated Monsteras, Yellow Marilyn delivers a distinctly warm palette. As the plant matures, its leaves become larger and increasingly fenestrated, giving the golden variegation even greater visual impact.

This plant is supplied as a young tissue-culture plantlet and must be carefully acclimatised after removal from its sealed growing environment.

Tissue-culture plantlets are young, living plants, and some loss is always possible during acclimation. Please ensure you have an appropriate growing environment and are comfortable with the process before purchasing.

✨ Care Once Acclimatised

Provide bright, indirect light, moderate to high humidity and warm, stable temperatures of approximately 18–28°C. Keep the substrate lightly and evenly moist without allowing it to remain saturated.

Once fully acclimatised, plant into our NPG Aroid Formula or another chunky, free-draining aroid mix. Provide sturdy vertical support to encourage larger foliage and increasingly mature fenestration.

🌱 NPG Tip

Yellow Marilyn’s colouring can continue changing as each new leaf emerges and hardens, so avoid judging its final colour too early.

Stable warmth, bright indirect light and consistent care will encourage strong growth while helping protect the more delicate golden sections from scorching.
