Bold, colourful, and highly distinctive — Monstera Thai Constellation Tricolor Miracle takes the familiar speckled character of Thai Constellation and layers it with a broader range of colour, producing foliage with green, creamy-white and yellow-to-golden tones.
The result is a much more dynamic expression than a standard Thai Constellation. Fine constellation-style speckling can sit alongside marbling, streaking and larger contrasting areas of colour, allowing multiple tones to appear across the same leaf.
Each new leaf brings its own combination of pattern and colour, while the plant retains the broad foliage and increasingly dramatic fenestration associated with Monstera deliciosa as it matures.
This is a collector Monstera where the attraction is not simply the amount of variegation, but the interaction between its different colours, creating a layered tricolor appearance that becomes increasingly impressive on larger mature foliage.
✨ Tissue Culture Acclimation
Tissue culture plantlets require careful acclimation after being removed from their sealed growing environment.
For the best chance of success:
• Carefully remove the plantlet from the bag or flask.
• Thoroughly rinse all agar from the roots and foliage.
• Sterilise and treat the plantlet by following the supplied NPG Tissue Culture Acclimation Protocol.
• Apply rooting hormone where recommended.
• Plant into a clean, sterile and moisture-retentive acclimation medium.
• Keep the plantlet inside a humidity dome with warm, stable temperatures and high humidity.
• Begin under low to moderate indirect light.
• Avoid intense grow lights or direct sunlight during the first few weeks.
• Gradually increase airflow and light while slowly reducing humidity as the plantlet establishes.
Every order includes an NPG Tissue Culture Acclimation Pack and access to our detailed NPG Tissue Culture Acclimation Protocol.
Stability is more important than intensity during the first few weeks.
Avoid repeatedly changing the plantlet’s humidity, temperature, lighting or growing medium. Give it time to recover from deflasking, establish new roots and gradually adapt to normal growing conditions.
Tissue culture plantlets are young, living plants, and some loss is always possible during acclimation. Please ensure you are comfortable with the process and have an appropriate growing environment before purchasing.
✨ Quick Care Tips:
💧 Water: Once established, keep evenly moist and allow the top layer of substrate to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid prolonged saturation.
☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light supports healthy growth and strong colour expression. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, particularly while new leaves are hardening.
🌫 Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity for healthy foliage and consistent growth.
🌡 Temps: Thrives between 18–28 °C. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
🪴 Soil: Once fully acclimated, performs exceptionally well in our NPG Aroid Formula, providing the balance of airflow, moisture retention and structure needed for strong root development. Alternatively, use a chunky, free-draining aroid mix with bark, perlite and coco.
🌱 NPG Tip:
Give Tricolor Miracle something sturdy to climb once established. Vertical support encourages larger foliage and increasingly mature fenestration, giving the different layers of cream, yellow, green and constellation-style patterning more space to show.
Consistent light, warmth and watering will help the plant establish strongly and allow its characteristic tricolor foliage to become the focus as it matures.
