🌿 Monstera Deliciosa ‘Legacy’ – Striking Variegation with Classic Monstera Form
Bold, refined and highly collectible, Monstera Deliciosa ‘Legacy’ combines the unmistakable mature form of Monstera deliciosa with beautifully contrasting variegation that gives every leaf its own individual character.
Its deep green foliage develops with lighter green, mint and creamy tones appearing through marbling, mottling, streaking and contrasting sections. The combination creates a layered pattern across the leaf rather than a completely uniform appearance, making each new unfurl an opportunity for something different.
As Legacy establishes and begins climbing, its foliage becomes progressively larger and increasingly fenestrated. Mature leaves provide an impressive canvas for its variegation, combining dramatic Monstera structure with evolving colour and pattern.
✨ Quick Care Tips
💧 Water: Allow the upper layer of substrate to begin drying slightly between waterings. Avoid keeping the root zone constantly saturated.
☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal for supporting strong growth and maintaining attractive variegation. Avoid harsh direct sunlight.
🌫 Humidity: Moderate to high humidity encourages healthy foliage development and smoother unfurling.
🌡 Temps: Thrives between approximately 18–28°C. Keep conditions warm and stable and protect from cold drafts.
🪴 Soil: Performs exceptionally well in our NPG Aroid Formula, providing the airflow, drainage and moisture retention required for strong root development and vigorous growth.
🌱 NPG Tip
Legacy's variegation can naturally change in pattern and intensity from one leaf to the next. Allow new foliage to fully harden before judging its final colouring, as lighter areas can continue developing after the leaf first unfurls.
Provide sturdy vertical support early. Allowing Legacy to establish its aerial roots and climb will encourage larger foliage, stronger mature fenestration and an increasingly impressive display of its characteristic variegation.
