🌿 Monstera Deliciosa Contorta ‘Green Coral’ – Tissue Culture – Coming Soon
Contorted Foliage with Layered Green Variegation
Unusual, sculptural and highly collectible, Monstera Deliciosa Contorta ‘Green Coral’ combines contorta-style foliage with richly layered green-on-green variegation.
Its leaves develop an irregular, asymmetrical form with twisting edges, deep divisions and naturally unpredictable fenestrations. Marbling and mottling flow through shades of lime, chartreuse, emerald and deep green, creating the coral-like pattern behind its Green Coral name.
Unlike the more uniform foliage associated with standard Monstera deliciosa forms, the appeal of Green Coral lies in its contorted structure. Each leaf can develop its own combination of curved lobes, distorted sections and irregular openings, becoming increasingly architectural as the plant matures.
✨ Tissue Culture Information
This plant is supplied as a young tissue-culture plantlet and must be carefully acclimatised after removal from its sealed growing environment.
Every order includes an NPG Tissue Culture Acclimation Pack. Please read both guides before purchasing or deflasking your plantlet:
• NPG Tissue Culture Acclimatisation Protocol
• NPG Tissue Culture Acclimation & Aftercare Guide
Tissue-culture plantlets are young, living plants, and some loss is always possible during acclimation. Please ensure you have an appropriate growing environment and are comfortable with the process before purchasing.
✨ Care Once Acclimatised
Provide bright, indirect light, moderate to high humidity and warm, stable temperatures of approximately 18–28°C. Keep the substrate lightly and evenly moist without allowing it to remain saturated.
Once fully acclimatised, we recommend growing your Monstera in our NPG Aroid Formula. Provide sturdy vertical support as the plant develops to encourage larger, increasingly mature foliage.
🌱 NPG Tip
The characteristic contorted shape and complex divisions become more noticeable as the plant matures. Juvenile leaves may not immediately display the dramatic structure shown by established examples.
Give each new leaf time to expand and harden fully before judging its final shape or colour. Stable warmth, bright indirect light and consistent care will support healthy growth and strong green-on-green contrast.
