Rare, sculptural and instantly unforgettable, Monstera Burle Marx Flame Aurea combines the distinctive mature foliage of Burle Marx Flame with vibrant aurea variegation in shades of yellow, lime and chartreuse.

Juvenile leaves begin with a simpler form before developing the increasingly narrow, deeply divided sections that give mature Burle Marx Flame foliage its dramatic flame-like appearance.

Each new leaf can display a different balance of marbling, mottling, streaking and larger contrasting sections. As the plant climbs and matures, its combination of intricate leaf structure and vivid colour creates a genuinely impressive collector specimen.

Tissue-culture plantlets are young, living plants, and some loss is always possible during acclimation. Please ensure you have an appropriate growing environment and are comfortable with the process before purchasing.

✨ Care Once Acclimatised

Provide bright, indirect light, moderate to high humidity and warm, stable temperatures of approximately 18–28°C. Keep the substrate lightly and evenly moist without allowing it to remain saturated.

Once fully acclimatised, plant into our NPG Aroid Formula or another chunky, free-draining aroid mix. Provide sturdy vertical support to encourage larger foliage and the deeply divided mature leaf shape for which Burle Marx Flame is known.

🌱 NPG Tip

Aurea variegation can display differently as each leaf emerges and hardens. Avoid judging the final colour of new foliage too early.

Consistent warmth, bright indirect light and vertical support will help the plant develop its characteristic flame-shaped mature foliage while protecting its more delicate variegated sections.
