Bold, structured and highly collectible, Alocasia Sanderiana ‘Bull Aurea’ combines dramatic architectural foliage with vibrant aurea variegation in shades of golden yellow, lime and chartreuse.

Its strongly defined, shield-shaped leaves feature prominent contrasting veins and sculpted margins, creating a striking framework for the developing colour. Variegation can appear through marbling, mottling, splashes and larger contrasting sections, with each new leaf producing its own balance of deep green and luminous golden tones.

As the plant establishes and matures, its foliage becomes larger and more imposing, giving the characteristic structure and aurea variegation even greater visual impact.

✨ Care Once Acclimatised

Provide bright, indirect light, moderate to high humidity and warm, stable temperatures of approximately 20–28°C.

Once fully acclimatised, we recommend growing your Alocasia in our NPG Alocasia Formula or pon using a self-watering setup. Both options provide consistent access to moisture while maintaining the airflow around the roots needed for healthy, stable growth.

Aurea variegation can continue changing as a new leaf emerges and hardens, so avoid judging its final colour too early.

Stable warmth, bright indirect light and consistent moisture will encourage strong growth while helping protect the more delicate golden sections from stress or scorching.
