🌸 Alocasia Polly ‘Shattered Ruby Variegated’ – Tissue Culture – Coming Soon

Fragmented Ruby Colour with Dramatic Dark Foliage

Bold, intense and exceptionally collectible, Alocasia Polly ‘Shattered Ruby Variegated’ combines the familiar architectural form of Polly with vivid ruby-pink variegation.

Its dark, arrow-shaped leaves and contrasting veins create a dramatic backdrop for fragmented splashes of ruby, blush pink, cream and pale green. Variegation can appear through shattered-looking markings, marbling, streaking and larger contrasting sections, giving every new leaf its own balance of colour and pattern.

As the plant establishes and matures, its foliage becomes larger and increasingly defined, allowing the rich ruby tones and angular Polly structure to create an unforgettable collector plant.

✨ Tissue Culture Information

This plant is supplied as a young tissue-culture plantlet and must be carefully acclimatised after removal from its sealed growing environment.

Every order includes an NPG Tissue Culture Acclimation Pack. Please read both guides before purchasing or deflasking your plantlet:

• NPG Tissue Culture Acclimatisation Protocol
• NPG Tissue Culture Acclimation & Aftercare Guide

Tissue-culture plantlets are young, living plants, and some loss is always possible during acclimation. Please ensure you have an appropriate growing environment and are comfortable with the process before purchasing.

✨ Care Once Acclimatised

Provide bright, indirect light, moderate to high humidity and warm, stable temperatures of approximately 20–28°C.

Once fully acclimatised, we recommend growing your Alocasia in pon using a self-watering pot. This setup provides consistent access to moisture while maintaining the airflow around the roots needed for healthy, stable growth.

🌱 NPG Tip

Ruby and pink colouring may continue changing as each new leaf emerges and hardens, so avoid judging its final appearance too early.

Stable warmth, bright indirect light and consistent moisture will encourage healthy growth while helping protect its more delicate pink and cream sections.
