🌸 Alocasia Nobilis ‘Pink Variegated K Version’ – Sculptural Foliage with True-Pink Variegation
Elegant, dramatic and highly collectible, Alocasia Nobilis ‘Pink Variegated K Version’ combines long, sharply defined foliage with contrasting shades of blush pink, cream and deep green.
Its elongated, arrow-shaped leaves feature pronounced veins and distinctive wavy, sculpted margins. Pink variegation can appear through marbling, mottling, splashes, half-moon patterning and larger contrasting sections, giving every new leaf its own balance of colour and character.
As the plant establishes and matures, its foliage becomes longer and increasingly architectural, allowing the pink variegation and dramatic leaf structure to create an impressive collector specimen.
✨ K Version
The K Version designation identifies this selected Nobilis trade line, which is sought after for its stronger true-pink expression rather than predominantly mint-toned variegation.
Colour intensity and pattern will still vary naturally between individual plantlets and leaves. The K Version designation does not guarantee a particular variegation pattern or amount of pink on future growth.
✨ Tissue Culture Information
This plant is supplied as a young tissue-culture plantlet and must be carefully acclimatised after removal from its sealed growing environment.
Every order includes an NPG Tissue Culture Acclimation Pack. Please read both guides before purchasing or deflasking your plantlet:
• NPG Tissue Culture Acclimatisation Protocol
• NPG Tissue Culture Acclimation & Aftercare Guide
Tissue-culture plantlets are young, living plants, and some loss is always possible during acclimation. Please ensure you have an appropriate growing environment and are comfortable with the process before purchasing.
✨ Care Once Acclimatised
Provide bright, indirect light, moderate to high humidity and warm, stable temperatures of approximately 20–28°C.
Once fully acclimatised, we recommend growing your Alocasia in our NPG Alocasia Formula or pon using a self-watering setup. Both options provide consistent access to moisture while maintaining the airflow around the roots needed for healthy, stable growth.
🌱 NPG Tip
Pink variegation can change in appearance as each new leaf emerges and hardens, so avoid judging its final colour too early.
Stable warmth, bright indirect light and consistent moisture will encourage healthy growth while helping protect its more delicate pink and cream sections.
