If the price of a plant in our New Release category drops within 60 days of its original launch, we’ll give you store credit for the difference. Easy peasy.

It’s super simple — like watering a succulent:

– All plants in the New Release category are eligible
– If the plant’s price drops within 60 days of its first online release, we’ll credit you the difference
– Just send us your order number and a screenshot or link showing the lower price
– We’ll pop that store credit into your NPG account — ready for your next leafy purchase 🌿

📝 The Fine Print (aka The Leafy Legal Bits)
– The 60-day window starts from the plant’s online release date, not your purchase date
– Applies only to the same exact plant (variety, size, and pot)
– Only valid on full-price purchases — excludes promos or sale items
– Price drops must occur on www.nelsonplantguy.co.nz only
– Requests must be submitted within 90 days of the plant’s original release
– Store credit is not transferable or redeemable for cash
– We reserve the right to modify or cancel the guarantee at any time — just in case the plants start a revolution 🌱

Love your variegation? Lock it in with a little leafy peace of mind.

If you're buying a plant with standout variegation, our Variegation Protection Add-On helps ensure it stays that way. For a fee, this optional add-on has your back if your plant’s new leaves decide to revert.

💡 How It Works
✅ Choose your plant with standout variegation
✅ Add the Variegation Protection Add-On (available above the Add to Cart button on eligible plants, or in the Variegation Protection Add-On category)
✅ You’re covered for 2 months or 3 new leaves, whichever comes first
✅ If all 3 new leaves fully revert, we’ll issue store credit for the full plant value

If your plant keeps its variegation for the full term, and you don’t make a claim, you’ll automatically receive 50% of your Add-On fee back as store credit — no emails, no chasing. Just good vibes and healthy plants. 💚

📝 The Leafy Legal Bits
– Must be purchased at the same time as the plant
– Applies only to plants with “Variegation Guarantee” in the title
– Valid for 2 months from delivery or 3 new leaves, whichever comes first
– Claim is only valid if all 3 new leaves are fully reverted (completely green)
– The plant must remain:
 – Uncut and unpropagated
 – In its original pot and planting medium
 – With the security tag intact and unaltered
– Clear, well-lit photos are required to assess any claim
– Store credit only — no refunds or replacements
– Add-On fee is non-refundable
– Does not cover pests, neglect, overwatering, or major environmental changes
– NPG reserves the right to assess and approve all claims
